Our Yoga Retreat Bali was a journey none of us will forget. Over 10 beautiful days we breathed, moved, explored, laughed and cried together. This was my 10th yoga retreat and felt especially magical from beginning to end. There was a feeling of genuine connection, openness and adventure that made the entire experience deeply memorable.
For the first seven nights we stayed in an incredible designer villa in Ubud, surrounded by jungle energy, tropical gardens and the peaceful atmosphere that makes Bali so unique. Most days began with breathing, yoga and meditation, before we headed out to experience the culture, nature and spirituality of the island. The final three nights were spent on the beautiful island of Nusa Lembongan, staying in a relaxed beach cabin villa just a few footsteps from the ocean. It was the perfect way to end the retreat with slower island energy, sea air and sunsets.
There were so many unforgettable moments throughout the retreat. Walking through the mind blowing rice terraces felt like stepping into another world. Visiting the sacred water temple for a traditional healing ritual was powerful and emotional for many of us. One evening we shared our own primal kirtan gathering filled with mantra, music and raw expression. We were also lucky enough to experience a traditional Balinese music and dance performance which gave everyone a deeper appreciation of the local culture and spirit of Bali.
The snorkelling trip was another huge highlight. Swimming amongst colourful coral, tropical fish and sea turtles was truly breathtaking.
What made this retreat even more special was the group itself. From day one there was warmth, kindness and laughter. By the end of the retreat, strangers had become genuine friends, connected through a shared experience that will stay with us all for a very long time.
